  1. My Sister and I are travelling to San francisco on the weekend of your February 4th class. I am a member of the Quad City Basketry Guild – and would like to know if it were possible to attend your clubs meeting and weave the cool bracelet! What are the conditions of weaving with your group? would you tolerate a midwestern guest? or two? What would we have to do to reserve a kit?

      Hi Rene,
we are always pleased to have guests and are looking forward to meeting you and your sister. We meet at 4359 39th Avenue in Oakland around 10:30 a.m. but the workshop program starts at 1 p.m. after lunch. I think there will be enough materials to accommodate you. If you need driving directions, click on any of the newsletters and go to page 2.

to Chris Johnson: I am a friend of Nancy Jones and I have wanted to visit the basket guild meeting for several years and this Saturday, May 5th is an auspicious date. I would like to participate in your project at that time. May I do that? Cost? What to bring? Thanks. Kay Leach

babminformation@gmail.com. Hi Kay, you are most welcome to participate in the May 5 workshop. The cost will be $6-7 depending on what you use. If you have Adirondack alcohol ink dyes (available at Michael’s and JoAnne’s) bring those, but Chris will have some. The workshop usually starts around 1 pm after lunch. Meeting Place 4359 39th Avenue in Oakland. If you send me an email to the above address, perhaps we can communicate quicker re what else to bring. –Jutta
